I really love this picture.. it was done in college. I wanted to practice drawing people, and love the picture... so I really worked on it especially the eyes and mouth.. but the nose.. well it could have been better.. It is my best drawing!!

I love this (Black Cat!!!) I'm in the midst's of drawing a picture of Janet myself, and being that black and white portraits are my absolute favorite I can say this truly strikes a chord with me. I'm drawing the one from the set of Scream from her Design Of A Decade CD booklet. I've been looking for a nicely drawn picture of her and yours hits hard.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned that you wanted to get her nose just so. I'm critical of myself when I'm drawing portraits of people so I know how you feel. In looking at this drawing, I see first thing I see is her eye, mouth and that key earring. I like how you drew her hair and mouth because those are two key features I like to get just right.
I hope you post more of your drawings because this is fantastic.
It's been awhile since I have been on my blog,.. (as I look at the date of your comment-2 years!!) but I still want to thank you for your kind comments. Wondering if you completed the drawing of Janet?? I love to draw,.. but currently the only drawings that I do is medical pics as I study for my medical board exams.
